The Big CON
Electing between the PRO and CON got us here: The Eleprocon Conspiracy
Back in the late 1970s I knew I was in trouble the first time I heard this quote (in the image). It’s what helped make visible the eleprocon epiphany while I was creating a poster about the electromagnectic spectrum featuring this notion from Bucky.
Personally I felt a deep relationship, a hope to what might play out. But I also have feared the shadow side of our proclivities since I was a teenager.
The PRO and the CON becoming more visible enabling us to become more adept with our abilities to conspire, breathe together, for both good and evil.
The new computational tools, hardware and software, as well as the telecommunications capabilities, and our curiosity about our sense of consciousness coming onto the horizon in the 1970s suggested we could each be “trim-tabs”, as Bucky might put it, helping to proactively nudge humanity in a healthy direction.

The potential for humanity to idealize where they’d like to evolve towards was immense. But once we unleashed the digital realm truth quickly became suspect and trust eroded from there.
Yet, professing the PRO and convincing the CON has led to the sense of divide and conquer. A long distorted message from whence it came, that of divine and concur.
The eleprocon epiphany seems to be proving its point. We are in fact oscillating electing between the PRO and the CON like electrons and protons resonating with each other becoming conscious of their synchrony.
Unfurling more of the spectrum we live within and through.
Making the invisible visible.
Arriving to this very moment revealing the big CON right before our very eyes.

At this time (c.1979) it was becoming clear to me the mediascape was about to radically change; broadcast television was being challenged; and because one-way communications was losing its grip on humanity we would eventually be arriving at our reality today. (Read more…)
